The Armed Forces ensure comprehensive medical care for Ukraine’s defenders. All service members can rely on:
- qualified medical care in healthcare institutions of the Ministry of Defense and other military formations of Ukraine
- free medicines, medical supplies, immunobiological preparations, and medical devices prescribed by a doctor
- the possibility of receiving treatment or rehabilitation abroad funded by the state budget in case of injury or illness sustained during combat (under martial law)
- annual preventive check-ups and medical screening
- the ability to receive care in both public and private medical facilities contracted with the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU)
- vouchers for sanatorium and spa treatment
