The Ground Forces are the largest independent branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, capable of conducting large-scale and highly complex military operations. The structure and specialization of the various components of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, shaped by the realities of the Russian–Ukrainian war, are among the key factors enabling the successful execution of missions of any level of complexity.
